Directions To Damson Park

WALKING

As a fan who often travels to games by train I found there was not a guide for supporters to find Birmingham’s home ground.

Hopefully this map helps you out. This is one of several routes to Damson Park but it includes the option to stop off at a lovely pub called the ‘Red House‘.Red House - Pub

On Sunday matchdays it offers a three course carvery for a reasonable price and I would recommend it to fans new and old.

It can get quite busy so be sure to book ahead to avoid any disappointment.

[Author’s note: Having just read the pub’s Trip Advisor page it appears they are under new management. I will keep you posted on if the food is still as good as it was before when I visit next month.]

BUS

Sunday matches often means minimal public transport options from Solihull train station to the ground.

The ‘X12‘ service is the one you will want to look out for.

It leaves from Stand G at a quarter past one (13.16) outside the rail station and will take you as far as the Land Rover Works (13.30).

From there cross the road to the path provided before crossing back to the other side just before the roundabout.

Follow the path next to the Land Rover Works, crossing over at one set of traffic lights, and the destination will be on the left.

The X12 service will be available for a return to the rail station from the Land Rover Works bus stop at 16.15 and 16.45.
